IT'S ALL A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE

When my "OLDER" (she hates it when I call her that) sister and I were growing up, she told me all the time I was adopted! Not knowing what a blessing adoption truly is, I was always bawling about the whole thing.  You see, I don't look like anyone in my family. My older sister and my younger sister look like they are related. I, on the other hand, don't even look like the mailman. So, she loved to get me going with the whole thing. But, NOW that we are both "OLDER", and I realize just how dysfunctional our family really was, I AM THE ONE LAUGHING!!! And, I truly believe I was adopted at birth! That way I have a "win/win" situation. I am part of a family, but I have NO responsibility for any of the shenanigans that have gone on over the years. You see...I am not part of the gene pool!!!
